Job Overview :

We are currently seeking an energetic, reliable and passionate Group Fitness Instructor to teach a variety of class styles, ranging from innovative cardio and core, strength circuits, HIIT, Barre, Yoga, and Zumba® at a high profile company's fitness center located in Washington, DC .

Must be available at midday hours for noon classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and ideally have evening availability of Wednesdays, along with experience in virtual classes for our Monday and Friday offerings.

  • Develop effective, engaging, and motivating class formats accompanied by fun and appropriate playlists.
  • Have a passion for client results by building class attendance and offering alternative movements to accommodate all levels of fitness.
  • Opportunity to provide class coverage for multiple formats, both in-person and virtually.

Requirements :

Current nationally recognized Group Fitness Certification and current CPR / AED certification (no online CPR / AED certification accepted).

Ideally, additional specialty class certificate or specialty class license (i.e. Zumba®, Yoga, Barre, etc.)

  • Prior experience in Group Fitness, Personal Training, corporate health promotion, wellness, etc.
  • Must be knowledgeable about the industry with the customer skills to network, engage, and interact with all clients, guests, and participants.
  • Must communicate professionally using appropriate vocabulary and grammar to obtain and relay information to and from clients / guests / management / teammates.
  • Ability to effectively engage participants as a public speaker.

Pay is based on several factors including, but not limited to, education, work experience, certifications, geographic differentials, and other business and organizational needs.
