CommQuest is currently seeking a Full Time Manager of Residential Operations at our Canton & Massillon locations . The Manager of Residential Operations is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, staffing, and programming of residential facilities.
This role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, manages personnel, budgets, and resources, and supports the development and well-being of residents.
The Manager also contributes to strategic planning and quality improvement initiatives.

What you'll do :
- Create work schedules and supervise staff, including Assistant Director of Residential Operations, Lead Residential Technician(s), Resident Technicians, Kitchen Coordinator, and Cook(s).
- Assists in hiring, training, and staff development while managing time clock approvals, annual performance reviews, and staff onboarding.
- Manages overall budget as it relates to operations and personnel expenses of supervised staff.
- Oversees house programming schedule and identifies opportunities for new programmatic offerings. Communicates programming needs to Senior Director of Director Services.
- Ensures overall compliance with regulatory bodies such as OMHAS and COA, while collaborating with the Safety Committee, including coordinating safety inspections and audits with outside bodies, such as the Stark Co. Health Dept., etc.
- Supports strategic planning, setting departmental goals, and identifying improvement areas.
- Provide crisis intervention, behavioral intervention, and supports residents' development of activities of daily living (ADLs).
- All other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications :
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Dependency, Psychology, Social Work or similar field required . Master's Degree highly preferred.
- Active Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant (CDCA) certification or above issued by the State of Ohio required .
- Minimum 4-5 year s' experience in recovery services including a minimum of 2- year supervisory experience required .
- Maintains Non-Violent Crisis Intervention and CPR / First Aid training, obtained within first 90 days of employment.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Availability for rotating on-call shifts, some evenings and weekends required .

- Salary listed is base pay. Quarterly bonuses for licensed positions!
- Remote / Hybrid options available for counselor roles; based upon facility / department needs, employment experience, and 90-days employment completion.
