What does this role look like?
Our Engineering organization in Silverdale, WA is seeking a highly motivated Admin Support team member who can provide their skills and expertise in helping us deliver to the Fleet Ballistic Missile Program mission.
This position provides support to our Engineering Management, organization staff as well as support for other site administrative needs.

In this role will offer you the following daily responsibilities :
Responsibilities include the preparing, proof reading and distribution of technical and administrative documentation. Our engineering team develops a range of reports, letters and other documents that are reviewed and approved both internally and externally with LM and Navy mission partners.
Additional responsibilities include assisting with managing meeting schedules, coordination of meetings and appointments, VIP visitor management, arranging of business travel, preparing and processing travel expense reports, office supply and equipment purchasing as well as event planning and coordination.
We are looking for a candidate who has great attention to detail while also able to work and communicate effectively with our diverse engineering team and other LM and Navy mission partners.
Please note that this position does NOT support teleworking; the preferred candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in Silverdale, WA, and will be expected to work in the office.
Desired skills
To be effective, ideally, you should also have :
- Experience with or have the ability to learn LM and Navy correspondence standards and formats
- Familiarization of documentation classification markings and transmission
- Experience with document proof-reading in both paper based and electronic methods
- Strong writing skills with high attention to detail
- Demonstration of exceptional relationship-building and team inclusiveness
- Experience with event planning and coordination
- Experience with managing office supplies and equipment
- Self-motivated, strong communicator with excellent time and organizational skills
- Ability to work creatively and efficiently under pressure to maintain successful delivery of high-quality content amid dynamic and unexpected circumstances
- Demonstrated exceptional strategic communication skills, both written, verbal, and presentation, to effectively communicate business cases to all levels of peers, suppliers, and stakeholders, as well as program executives, with an ability to persuade and motivate action.
