We are seeking a Director of Human Resources to join the team in Lexington, KY.

Responsibilities

  • Five (5) years’ experience in a healthcare environment required.
  • Demonstrated leadership and complex organizational management skills
  • Knowledge of contemporary principles of human resource management and public personnel practices.
  • Ability to interpret and advise on the application of EEO / AA laws and regulations to public sector faculty / staff hiring processes.
  • Knowledge of computerized information systems used in human resources applications.
  • Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations, and public sector employment policies and procedures.
  • Ability to interpret business and operational needs and develop integrated, creative solutions.
  • Strategic planning and performance measurement.
  • Ability to analyze problems and develop creative solutions to complex human resource issues.
  • Knowledge of alternative dispute resolution processes.
  • Knowledge of federal and state wage and salary laws and regulations.
  • Exemplary computer skills that include knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite of products.
  • Must have a working knowledge of the following areas : Compensation Administration, Employee Benefits Administration, Employee Relations and Employee Communication, Human Resources Information System (HRIS), management Development;

  • Ability to create, compose and edit written materials.
  • Ability to gather data, compile information and prepare reports.
  • Ability to interpret and analyze informational needs and provide technical advice and guidance in area of specialty.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
  • Database management skills.
  • Skill in the use of personal computers and related software applications

Qualifications

Bachelors degree (Masters preferred) in human resources, business or healthcare administration.
