Job Overview :

As a Legal Analyst specializing in document and contract review, you will be responsible for meticulously reviewing, analyzing, and proofreading legal documents and contracts to ensure accuracy, compliance, and consistency.

Your role will involve collaborating with attorneys and other legal professionals to support our legal operations and provide valuable insights on contractual terms and document quality.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Document Review : Conduct thorough reviews of legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and other legal materials, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Contract Analysis : Analyze contract terms, conditions, and clauses to identify potential risks, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement.

Prepare summaries and reports for internal use.

  • Proofreading : Proofread and edit legal documents to ensure clarity, consistency, and grammatical accuracy. Correct typographical errors and formatting issues.
  • Compliance : Verify that documents adhere to legal standards and organizational policies. Ensure that all contractual obligations are met and maintained.
  • Collaboration : Work closely with attorneys, paralegals, and other legal staff to address any issues or discrepancies identified during the review process.

Provide recommendations for revisions or improvements.

Documentation Management : Organize and maintain an efficient system for tracking and managing legal documents and contracts.

Ensure that all documents are properly filed and accessible.

Research : Conduct legal research as needed to support document review and contract analysis. Stay updated on relevant legal developments and best practices.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies, Business Administration, or a related field. A paralegal certification or equivalent legal education is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Legal Analyst, Paralegal, or similar role with a focus on document and contract review.
  • Strong understanding of legal terminology, contract structures, and compliance requirements.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with excellent proofreading and editing skills.
  • Proficiency in using legal research tools and document management software.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly.
