We are currently hiring for a Human Resources Manager in our Ashland, Virginia location. This position will ensure the business recruits and maintains a highly effective workforce through leading the Human Resources (HR) function of a US multi-site organization.
Duties / Responsibilities
- Partners with the leadership team to continually develop and execute the organization's HR strategy
- Collaborates with recruiting Managers to ensure an effective recruiting and onboarding process is maintained.
- Proactively provides HR information and advice to support Managers and employees in maintaining an effective relationship.
- Creates learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.
- Manage and maintain the performance review process to ensure both managers and staff have regular opportunities to review objectives, performance and skills required
- Manage employee benefits programs ensuring they remain competitive, well-communicated, and all data is up-to-date and auditable.
- Continually reviews and develops company HR policies and be the facilitator for disciplinary actions, grievances and terminations
- Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements, conducting investigations, maintaining records, and representing the organization at hearings.
- Other duties as assigned.

Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- A minimum of three years of human resource management experience required.
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly desired.
