SNC has manufactured and delivered hundreds of thousands of NSA-certified key management systems in support of the DOD and its mission partners.

Our key management systems are designed to provide secure and interoperable cryptographic, distribution and management capabilities to support mission-critical systems for the U.

S. military, government agencies, coalition partners and allies. If you are up to the challenge and have 10+ years of experience in National Security Agency (NSA), Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition, Key Management Infrastructure (KMI), and Communication Security (COMSEC) fill devices.

As the Director of Business Development role for Cryptographic Systems (CS) within the Digital Grid group you will establish and increase customer intimacy and market share by strengthening relationships with new and existing customers.

Ability to collaborate with diverse government groups whose goal is to protect information supporting US National Security Systems (NSS) and networks.

Comfortable working with various non-technical, technical, civilian, and military stakeholders at all levels of government from action officers to the most senior officials dedicated to protecting our nations most sensitive information.

Additionally, you'll work closely with your internal teammates from engineering, operations, and program teams who are uniquely focused on developing and delivering Cryptographically Modern (CM) systems and applications.

You're work when necessary includes identifying and partnering with key team mates from the Defense Industrial Base (DIB) in support of CM pursuits.

The Mission Solutions and Technologies (MST) business area provides affordable, turn-key command / control, communications, integrated ISR, force protection and security solutions worldwide.

The MST team has a long legacy of supporting the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, commercial and international customers with years of experience in platform operations, engineering and full lifecycle management across domains air, land, sea, space and cyber.

Must-haves :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Business Development, Marketing or a related field of studyRelevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of one or more of the following disciplines : Business development, capture management, program management, science and engineering programs, acquisition processes, opportunity identification and qualification
  • Demonstrated ability to work with senior business and government leaders and to provide leadership within the workplace
  • Working knowledge and experience with engineering support acquisition organizations
  • Experience developing account plans and capture plans for new business opportunities
  • Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense (Civilian), NASA / Civil or commercial space and / or US Military, with an understanding of defense, aerospace, intelligence, and adjacent markets
  • Understanding of US DOD Military programs or CIVIL Space services, and acquisition procedures
  • Ability to understand customer requirements and operational concepts, interpret, translate, and explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical audience
  • Understand NSA Type 1 Cryptographic Policy, Doctrine, Products, and Practices
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders and team building skills
  • Experience with technical marketing, proposal development, and program management or
  • engineering design
  • Military experience may be considered in lieu of business requirements
  • Must be an internal and external customer focused "Team player"
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to motivate / work with others
  • Ability to self-start and work independently with minimal guidan
  • Ability to travel up to 70%
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required

Preferred :

  • 10+ years of NSA, COMSEC, and Cryptographic technology experience
  • Understanding of NSA Crypto-Mod (CM) objectives
  • Knowledge of DoD National Security Systems (NSS) requirements and program communities
  • Experience with or knowledge of NSA High Assurance (Type 1) certifications and processes
  • Understand DoD acquisitions cycles and processes
  • Knowledge / understanding of DoD network architectures as they relate to NSS
  • Familiarity with Anti-Tamper and TEMPEST requirements

Estimated Starting Salary : $169,182.14 - $232,625.44

SNC offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.

This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.

S. Security Clearance for employment. Non-U.S. Citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The Department of Defense Consolidated Adjudications Facility (DoD CAF), a federal government agency, handles the adjudicative aspects of the security clearance eligibility process for industry applicants.

Adjudicative factors which affect the outcome of the eligibility determination include, but are not limited to, allegiance to the U.

S., foreign influence, foreign preference, criminal conduct, security violations and illegal drug use.
