JOB DESCRIPTION :
We are looking to bring on highly skilled, talented chefs (of all levels) to be an integral part of our uniquely positioned event experience.
We are hired by global brands, household names and luxury clientele to create outstanding culinary experiences from intimate, multi-course dinners to movie premieres of 600+.
We are looking for to fill our event chef roster with talented chefs within the Los Angeles area. You can work as much or as little as your schedule allows.
Reporting to the Executive Chef, the Event Chef is among one of the key culinary roles within the core guest experience. This position is responsible for meeting with the internal event and chef team to ensure all menu details are executed on site as planned, including all service items are packed, all mise is en place, all finished 'product' is exaclty as approved in development of event, managing event cooks when neeeded - all within a very fast-paced, always changing environment.
Requirements : Ideal Candidate Must Have the Following
- Three or more years high-volume full-service elevated restaurant or catering company experience
- Michelin / Beard skilled and experienced preferred
- Ability to ensure the smooth operation of offiste events and catering production
- Work with 'sense of urgency' and be adept to managing multiple menu items with detail
- Be able to lift and maneuver heavier objects without difficulty (50 lbs)
- Superior kitchen organizational skills
- Positive attitude and professional presence of self
- Attention to detail
- Work into late in the evening occasionally
Pay Range & Benefits
- Hourly $30-$50 BOE
