The Senior Account Manager (SAM) at Redvail will be a key player in managing and nurturing our client relationships within the political consulting and strategy sector.

The SAM will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of account management are executed with precision and efficiency, working closely with internal teams and clients to deliver on strategic objectives.

The role requires a deep understanding of political strategy, excellent communication skills, and the ability to drive successful outcomes for our clients.

Client Relationship Management :

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts, ensuring that client needs and expectations are met.
  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders within client organizations.
  • Regularly communicate with clients to provide updates, gather feedback, and discuss strategic plans.

Strategic Planning and Execution :

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop strategic plans tailored to the specific needs and goals of each client account.
  • Oversee the execution of client campaigns and projects, ensuring that all deliverables align with the agreed-upon strategy and timelines.
  • Identify opportunities for account growth and work with the sales team to upsell additional services.

Team Leadership and Coordination :

  • Lead cross-functional teams in the execution of client projects, ensuring that all team members are on task, on target, and working toward the same goals.
  • Facilitate regular team meetings to review progress, address challenges, and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Mentor and guide junior account managers and team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

Account Health and Performance Monitoring :

  • Monitor the health of each assigned account, using key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess client satisfaction, project success, and overall account profitability.
  • Proactively address any issues that may arise, working with clients and internal teams to find solutions that maintain account stability and satisfaction.
  • Prepare and present regular account reviews to senior management, highlighting successes, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.

Budget and Resource Management :

  • Manage account budgets, ensuring that all projects are delivered within the agreed-upon financial parameters.
  • Allocate resources effectively, balancing the needs of multiple accounts and projects to maximize efficiency and client satisfaction.

Strategic Consultation :

  • Provide strategic consultation to clients on political campaign management, voter outreach strategies, fundraising efforts, and other critical aspects of their operations.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, political developments, and best practices, using this knowledge to enhance client strategies and outcomes.

Reporting and Documentation :

  • Create detailed reports and documentation for client accounts, including project plans, status updates, and final reports.
  • Ensure all account-related documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to relevant team members.

Experience :

Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in account management, preferably within a political consulting or strategy firm. Previous experience in a senior account management role is highly desirable.

Skills :

  • Strong understanding of political campaigns, strategy, and consulting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide teams.
  • High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, project management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Results-driven with a focus on achieving client goals and objectives.
  • Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Collaborative team player with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.

Compensation :

  • Competitive salary based on experience.
  • Performance-based bonuses.
  • Comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) plan, and paid time off.
  • Initial compensation begins at $3 / hour for the first 30-days of employment. Standard payrate is $9-$21 / hour. Upon completion of 30-day initial period, payrate will be increased incrementally to meet standardized rates.
