Medical Billing Associate
Major / Essential Functions
- This position’s primary focus is on the review and resolution of insurance and / or patient credits in the billing system, which may involve posting or billing corrections, movement of credits within account(s), notification to payors for recoup processing, or refund to appropriate party.
- Work or assist in the resolution of credit balances by working insurance carrier and / or patient refunds.
- This position requires a self-motivated individual that is a quick learner.
This Is a Remote Worker Position.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in working with athenaIDX Billing and Accounts Receivable system
- Bilingual (English / Spanish)
- Additional experience in a clinic or physician's office preferred.
Pay Statement
Compensation is commensurate upon the qualifications of the individual selected and budgetary guidelines of the hiring department, as well as the institutional pay plan.
