Our client a comprehensive provider ofpersonal commercial and group benefits lines of insurance isseeking a proficient Commercial Producer.

This role is an excellentopportunity for individuals who excel in generating their ownprospects establishing strong networks and creating crediblelasting business relationships.

The ideal candidate should eitherpossess a book of business that can be transitioned with them orhave a solid business plan detailing existing relationships centersof influence and targeted market strategies.

With a focus on meeting and exceeding annual revenuequotas this position is perfect for those who are adept atconsulting on business matters and closing their own deals in thecommercial insurance sector.

JobResponsibilities

  • Independently generate prospects establishcredibility build strong relationships and developpipelines.
  • Consult on business matters andclose own deals.
  • Possess or develop a businessplan outlining existing relationships and target markets with aminimum revenue threshold of $10000.
  • Aim toachieve an annual quota of $100K in revenue with a minimumthreshold of $15000 in revenue from 1 MM inpremium.
  • Manage a balance of 40% new businessand 25% renewal commission splits.
  • Process ownaccords applications and participate in new businessplacement.
  • Work collaboratively with AccountManagers for daily servicing of accounts remarketing to carriersand providing administrative support for renewals while ensuringfinal signature / bind policies.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercialinsurance sales.
  • Demonstrated ability togenerate and manage a book of business.
  • Strongnetworking skills and established centers of influence within theGreater Portland area.
  • Proven track record ofmeeting or exceeding sales quotas and revenuethresholds.
  • Proficiency in handling accordsapplications and new businessplacements.
  • Excellent communication negotiationand relationshipbuilding skills.
  • Selfmotivateddetailoriented and capable of workingindependently.
