Protingent Staffing has an exciting Direct Hire Senior Process Design Engineer opportunity located in Moses Lake, WA.
Job Responsibilities :
- Carry out process development studies towards scale up and commercialization of materials.
- Generate deliverables required for execution of projects / initiatives including but not limited to : project schedules, resource plans, technical specifications, and budgets;
specifications for equipment and piping, documentation.
- Process design and detail engineering including performing process simulations, design calculations, process optimization, sizing and selection of equipment.
- Process documents such as H&MB, process descriptions, P&ID’s, PFD’s, process specifications, equipment specifications, cause and effect diagrams, safe operating limits, shutdown philosophies, and functional narratives.
- Own as project manager systems within the overall project.
- Work with EPC contractors in all phases of project.
- Assist in design, construction, and commissioning of process equipment.
- Develop and contribute manufacturing best practices as well as assist in manufacturing database design / management.
- Up to 20% travel required to support commercial sites globally.
Job Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
- Must have industrial engineering experience.
- Experience in materials production and / or chemical processing is preferred.
- Experience in capital project management.
- Experience with thermal processing equipment.
- Experience with bulk powders processing.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Demonstrated organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Industrial experience in chemical processing.
- Prior experience at both large and start-up companies.
- Experience with silicon gasses.
- Experience with carbon process.
- Experience in PSM covered facilities. Job Details :
