CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT

Delta has been retained by a confidential client to conduct a search for the position of Construction Superintendent in Grand Junction, Colorado.
Construction Superintendent Compensation & Benefits :
Total compensation for the Construction Superintendent is $105,000 to $150,000.

Construction Superintendent Duties & Responsibilities :
- Lead subcontractors and field personnel on the job site.
- Maintain project safety in accordance with the company’s safety policy.
- Develop, maintain, and update the project schedule.
- Preparation of two-week look ahead schedules.
- Use scheduling software to update project schedules.
- Assist with the buyout and selection of major subcontractors.
- Coordinate the work of the subcontractors’ personnel.
- Communicate effectively with owners, designers, and engineers.
- Maintain accurate cost reports.
- Adhere to all company policies, standards, and procedures.
Construction Superintendent Qualifications :
- A High School Diploma is required, college degree preferred.
- 5-8+ years of construction experience in all facets of the project.
- Experience with projects $60 - $200M in commercial, multi-family, aviation, mixed use, Higher Education.
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents, knowledge of construction methods and materials, strong team leadership skills and ability to communicate are all required skills.
Candidate must also have time management and project organizational skills to be successful in this role.
- MS Office and use of Apple products (iPad, iPhone). Training will be provided on company standards.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred but Not Necessary
- College Degree Preferred, not mandatory.
