WHAT YOU WILL DO :
The Sub-Lead Case Manager is a non-exempt position responsible for maintaining a reduced ratio (1 : 5) and assist the Lead with responsibilities as well as provide coverage for Case Managers as needed.
Coordinating case management and safe and timely release services, training new case managers, and supervising the work of other case managers when Lead Case Manager requested.
Ensures oversight and case coordination of case management services.
- Assigns caseload of children for intensive case management and needed services such as medical exams, educational assessments, legal services and the child’s family reunification Ensures the completion of assessments and any related social or medical history reports or forms as they pertain to the client’s needs and case record.
- Oversees the quality and timely completion of assessments, case documentation, and services for all cases in accordance with ORR and internal requirements and procedures.
- Provide oversight and guidance to case manager team, in collaboration with the Lead, to facilitate problem resolution, best practices, and ORR policy compliance to ensure timely and safe reunification.
- Participates in client staffing and follow-up as assigned. Coordinates the service planning process.
- Ensures concise and timely completion of all paperwork or documentation, including but not limited to, administrative, clinical or caseload requirements.
- Ensures and safeguards the human and legal rights of clients.
- Provides quality services and maintains desired productivity levels.
- Complies with all policies and procedures as outlined by funding sources, state licensing requirements, and agency guidelines.
- Responds to emergencies and provide crisis intervention.
- Performs all other duties assigned by the Lead Case Manager, Assistant Program Director and / or Program Director

WHAT YOU WILL NEED :
- Bachelor's Degree in the Behavioral Sciences, Human Services, Social Services or any related field of study, plus two (2) years of working in a social work type setting and two (2) years case management experience.
- Experience with children preferred.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- Must have experience with operating Microsoft database and case management systems
- Must be Bilingual, English / Spanish
- Proof of Immunization for : Varicella (2 doses), MMR (2 dose), Influenza (1 dose yearly), Tdap (1 dose).
- Must have a valid drivers' license with auto insurance coverage.
