A growing, family owned company is looking to add an Accounts Payable Specialist to their team!!!
About the Accounts Payable Specialist Position :
- Reconcile general ledger and petty cash
- Collaborate on state sales and use taxes
- Ensure accuracy and reasonableness of invoices and receiving tickets
- Perform data entry of vendor invoices and prepare status reports
- Handle 1099 forms and vendor inquiries
- Calculate and record subcontractor payables
- Issue checks
- Maintain department files and manage mail
- Perform additional clerical duties as required
Preferred Qualifications for the Accounts Payable Specialist :
- Experience with full cycle accounts payable
- Background in the construction industry is preferred
- High attention to detail
- Thrive in a fast paced environment
