Job Type Part-time Description
Colorado Dental Group , located near the Garden of the Gods, is growing and looking to add an experienced Expanded Duties Dental Assistant to our busy family practice.
This is a three-day-per-week position with an opportunity for growth. We have a fun, energetic, and cohesive team led by a fantastic dentist who has been with our practice for over ten years.
Our EDDA-Dental Assistants are crucial to achieving our goals of putting our patients and our provider experience first.

Responsibilities :
- Assist the dentist chairside
- Genuinely welcome patients into the practice - make them feel at ease
- Prepare patients for treatment, ensuring the highest level of care and comfort are achieved
- A thorough review and update of the patient's health history
- Set up and break down of operatories
- Select and set up instruments, equipment, and supplies as needed for each operatory daily
- Present and enter treatment plans into Denticon
- Provide post-operative instructions
- Sterilization of instruments according to regulations
- Stocking supplies, ordering supplies, and any additional duties as necessary
Requirements
- 2+ years of chairside dental assisting experience
- EDDA Certification is required
- X-Ray Certification
- CPR Certification
- Denticon experience is a plus but not required
Salary Description Starting at $22 / hr
