Want to join our team as a Project Manager, Creative ?
Utilizing a high level of organization, communication skills, and passion for collaboration, the Project Manager will partner cross-functionally to drive our creative priorities and marketing services for Cascade Maverik Lacrosse and Bauer Hockey.
The Project Manager will report directly to the Senior Marketing Manager and support our in-house Creative Center of Excellence team at our office in Exeter, New Hampshire.
Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities :
Resource Management : Manage all creative resources for the Lacrosse business. Create scopes for go-to-market plans to align resources with strategic priorities, for in-house team and outside vendors.
Evaluate quotes from production vendors and negotiate rates. Report on Creative resource allocations using time tracking data.
Timeline Management : Receive, assign, track and deliver creative requests on time. Prioritize projects based on Marketing Calendar.
Increase awareness and visibility into project status with workback schedules for projects. Facilitate weekly creative status meetings with creative team.
Process : Analyze and strive for efficiency and effectiveness in process in the areas of workflow, creative reviews, and approvals.
Ensure all necessary reviews and approvals have happened before work is released. Seek opportunities to improve the process.
Educate team and reinforce Creative process.
Production : Collaborate with team to identify and lead planning for all production efforts, including still photography and video shoots (i.
e., shot list development, talent sourcing, location, budget) with a focus on Cascade Maverick Lacrosse and opportunities to support on Bauer Hockey production at agreed-upon points in the year.
Work closely with cross-functional team to ensure smooth production processes and deliver assets on-time. Partner with COE Producer on in-house studio content scheduling.
Create schedules and plans for production and post-production. Lead pre-pro meetings with key stakeholders.
Communication : Report on project status to stakeholders. Proactively reach out and follow up as needed on projects to ensure timely project completion.
Raise red flags, roadblocks, and risks to timelines - and offer options or solutions.
Leadership & Collaboration : Own project status, timeline management, and project execution. Collaborate closely with Marketing Manager.
Partner with Creative Director to assign projects to Creative team and provide visibility to current workload and project status.
Work cross-functionally with Creative department, Marketing & Brand Managers, finance, legal.
Creative Systems : Manage project intake, collaborating with COE Project Manager on shared resources. Collaborate with Digital Asset Specialist on asset distribution and storage.
Use project management software to improve the process & visibility.
Budget Management : Track project budgets and scopes, process invoices, and coordinate payments for freelancers and vendors.
Evaluate monthly actuals and re-forecast out-months.
Qualifications :
- BS or BA in Marketing, Business or related field- or equivalent years of relevant and related experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Project Management experience in advertising agency and / or in-house creative department settings.
PMP certification a plus.
- Superb attention to detail, organization, communication skills and ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization.
- Proven track record managing budget, contract processes, building timelines and following through on commitments.
- Appreciation for and understanding of creative development process across media (Digital, Social, TV, Print, Grassroots).
- Experienced in advertising project management / production process.
- Solution-oriented team player. Committed to building positive working relationships with cross-functional teammates. Open to giving and receiving feedback.
- Exhibits high level of professionalism, and is a proactive, collaborative, self-starting team player who looks for ways to improve processes.
- Ability to multitask and coordinate with others in order to meet deadlines - and hold others at all levels accountable for commitments.
- Adjusts quickly to changing priorities, landscape and business needs.
