Barnes-Jewish College Goldfarb School of Nursing has over 100 years of history as a dynamic and prestigious nursing school in St.
Louis. As part of BJC Health System and located near Barnes-Jewish Hospital and St. Louis Children’s Hospital, this is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced, in-house BJC Marketing & Communications team to lead the marketing and communications strategy for the Goldfarb School of Nursing.
In this role, you will work closely with college leadership and internal MarCom teams to develop and execute a marketing and communications strategy to achieve the goals of the college.
You will design and execute omni-channel campaigns to engage prospective students and increase enrollment. You will develop initiatives to bolster the brand and reputation of the school and create engaging communications strategies for students, faculty and staff.

This position is hybrid and requires an in-office presence 4 days / week. Ideal candidates would have higher education and enrollment marketing experience.

Preferred Qualifications
Role Purpose
Responsible for planning, developing, implementing and measuring marketing programs and plans. Provide strategic marketing oversight for : clinical service lines, promotions / partnerships, and web initiatives to meet volume and market share targets.
Responsibilities
Manages individual(s) including but not limited to : hires, trains, assigns work, manages and evaluates performance, conducts professional development plans.
Ensures that the productivity and actions of that group meet / support the overall operational goals of the department as established by department leadership.
- Develops and adheres to departmental staffing, revenue and / or expense budgets. Responds to changes in the business which may affect the ability to achieve the budget goals.
- Develops and implements marketing plans for clinical services in pursuit of volume, market share and preference goals.
- Consults with hospital administration and directors, as well as physician department and division heads in the development of effective marketing strategies.
- Utilizes a proper mix of marketing tools to achieve defined business objectives.
- Creates and develops partnerships and promotions with businesses and organizations in executing the marketing plan.
- Directs all e-health and web strategies to achieve the annual goals and generate physician referrals.
