Accounts Payable Finance Clerk position :
The Westmoreland County Controller's office is looking to fill the position of Accounts Payable Finance Clerk. The The purpose of this position is to prepare and process invoices and payments for county agencies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Prepare invoices for data entry
- Enter invoices in New World system accurately and timely
- Check batches of invoices that have been entered in the system for accuracy
- Cross train on multiple A / P functions to serve as backup
- Check contracted rates to ensure that they’re in compliance with contracted guidelines
- Check P-Card logs against provided receipts for accuracy
Experience / Requirements :
- Previous accounts payable experience preferred, but not required
- Strong computer skills including the use of Microsoft Office applications
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to take initiative on job functions
- Ability to multi-task
- Team player
