Role Overview :
Are you ready to take the lead in revolutionizing the education space? As the Inside Sales Manager, you will spearhead our B2C sales efforts.
You will work closely with operations, marketing, and sales leadership to drive sales, boost enrollments, and ensure high retention rates.
This role will be based in Tempe, Arizona, with an exciting opportunity to build and lead a high-performing sales team.
Responsibilities :
In this dynamic role, you will have the opportunity to :
- Lead and Inspire : Direct and oversee B2C sales and new student recruiting efforts.
- Build a Winning Team : Recruit, develop, and manage top sales talent to drive company growth. Initially, you will build a sales team of 5-10 people.
- Transform Sales Strategies : Transition of current sales from a remote environment to a hybrid and premise-based model.
- Optimize Workflow : Oversee daily operations.
- Enhance Training Programs : Create and implement sales training with the goal of retaining and strengthening lead acquisition.
- Drive Excellence : Draft, implement, and execute policies, procedures, trainings, reports, and campaigns to ensure high-quality sales and exceptional customer onboarding.
- Monitor Performance : Establish and track performance metrics to deliver outstanding operating results.
- Collaborate with Marketing : Ensure quality lead flow and proactive post-lead conversion protocols.
- Innovate Customer Feedback : Develop methods to record, assess, and analyze customer feedback.
- Motivate with Creativity : Devise and implement creative incentive strategies to develop and retain top performers.
- Enhance Processes : Identify and recommend updates to sales processes, smart automations, and technology expansions.
- Liaise Across Divisions : Act as the primary liaison between sales, support departments, and other company divisions.
- Expand Your Role : Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements :
To excel in this role, you will need :
A bachelor's degree in business, Sales, Marketing, or Education, plus 7+ years of experience in a sales support role with supervisory experience;
or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proven success in B2C EdTech sales, K-12 Education, and / or post-secondary online education.
- Demonstrated success in managing high performing inside sales teams, particularly in inbound / internal sales.
- Familiarity with the education market.
- Exceptional communication skills and a team player mindset.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong reporting and presentation skills.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
- Knowledge of CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems. Salesforce experience is a plus.
- Previous experience in online education is a plus.
- Soft skills : self-managed, understands the market, creative, proactive, and excellent communication without micromanagement.
