We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality Manager to lead and manage the full quality control program within our medium-sized manufacturing operation, consisting of approximately 100 employees.
This position will oversee a dedicated quality team, including one Quality Engineer and three inspectors, ensuring compliance with industry standards and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities :
- Ensure all production processes meet ISO 9001 : 2015 certification requirements
- Proactively investigate and resolve quality issues and customer complaints, ensuring a high level of customer service
- Supervise inspection and testing activities to maintain productivity and accuracy
- Analyze statistical data and product specifications to establish robust quality standards and product reliability expectations
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to cross-functional teams and leadership to drive continuous improvement efforts
- Maintain and manage the ISO 9001 certification process, including documenting and upholding quality control standards and objectives
- Collaborate with production management to align quality objectives with operational procedures, optimizing product reliability while minimizing costs
- Develop, document, and implement thorough inspection criteria and procedures
- Communicate the organization's quality control philosophy across all levels to promote a strong culture of quality
- Oversee inspection activities throughout the production cycle, ensuring compliance with established standards
- Utilize total quality management tools and methodologies to improve analytical and reporting processes
- Work closely with vendors to resolve issues related to non-conforming parts and ensure the quality of purchased materials
- Lead and participate actively in internal continuous improvement initiatives
- Design and implement comprehensive quality control training programs for staff
- Contribute to the company’s overall safety management program and identify opportunities for improvement within the department
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered
- 6-10 years of experience in quality management, ideally in a manufacturing environment
- Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification preferred; strong knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies required
- Proven leadership experience, with demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and train teams
- Strong problem-solving skills and experience in root cause analysis
- Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
Job Type : Full-time, direct hire
Salary Range : $90,000 - $125,000 per year

- 10-hour shifts
