Client Service Representative

Summary : A wealth management firm is seeking a dedicated Client Service Representative (CSR) for its Mobile office. As an integral member of a client-facing team, which includes an Investment Counselor (IC) and a Portfolio Manager (PM), the CSR will play a crucial role in delivering accurate and professional support to clients.
Client Relationship Responsibilities :
- Support a specific IC's client base by maintaining client relationships, participating in periodic care calls, and scheduling meetings.
- Respond to client inquiries promptly, ensuring same-day acknowledgment of receipt.
- Maintain and organize client information in the firm’s CRM system, including logging meeting notes and tracking follow-up tasks.
- Coordinate with clients’ other professional advisors (CPAs, attorneys) as necessary.
- Prepare materials for client meetings, including printing and binding reports.
- Handle new account documentation as required by clients or ICs.
Operational Responsibilities :
- Act as a liaison between ICs, PMs, and other team members.
- Collaborate with the broader operations team to support corporate initiatives.
- Provide backup support to other ICs when needed.
- Interface with client custodians and manage account paperwork workflows.
- Assist with various ongoing and periodic projects such as tracking required minimum distributions, reviewing cash balance reports, and monitoring IRA / Retirement plan contributions according to clients’ financial plans.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
- Previous experience in financial services, accounting, or a similar field is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and strong technological competency.
- Strong customer service orientation, excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task, commitment to client confidentiality, and ability to work effectively in collaborative settings.
