Description

The Product Marketing Manager, eCommerce holds a pivotal role in driving product-centric marketing initiatives by harnessing data-driven insights to execute, measure, and optimize personalized user journeys.

This position is dedicated to strategically positioning our products within the e-commerce landscape, emphasizing their value proposition in the realm of continuing education with a specific focus on maximizing online sales and customer engagement across our e-commerce platform.

Responsibilities

Duties include but are not limited to :

  • Developing and refining product positioning tailored for e-commerce channels to effectively target and resonate with online audiences.
  • Analyzing and optimizing pricing structures for e-commerce products to maximize profitability and competitiveness in the online market.
  • Understanding the competitive landscape and developing positioning, messaging, and materials that highlight our strengths and value propositions.
  • Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including product development and e-commerce specialists, to identify target markets, enhance product features, and drive customer retention and loyalty.
  • Mapping out the online buyer's journey to optimize messaging at each stage, facilitating increased conversion rates and reduced cart abandonment.
  • Supporting content marketing and SEO efforts to generate online traffic and increase brand visibility among target e-commerce audiences.
  • Creating and delivering sales enablement materials tailored for e-commerce platforms to empower sales teams and drive revenue growth.
  • Planning and executing high-impact Go-to-Market campaigns to drive product awareness and adoption.
  • Developing and implementing an internal communication strategy to disseminate e-commerce-specific updates, market insights, and performance metrics effectively.

Qualifications & Desired Skills

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in product marketing, with a strong emphasis on e-commerce; experience in software or SaaS e-commerce environments preferred.
  • Proven track record of designing and executing successful e-commerce go-to-market campaigns.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messaging for online audiences.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation to drive strategic decisions; familiarity with marketing automation tools (e.

g., HubSpot), Google Analytics, and e-commerce platforms.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving and project management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Full time positions are scheduled to work 40 hours per week, M-F unless required otherwise by projects. Part time positions are scheduled to work a maximum of 30 hours per week (all part time positions will be specified in the job title.
