This Dietary Aide opportunity is full time, offers full benefits and a variable shift schedule. Under the direct supervision of the Food & Nutrition Services Director, Supervisor, or Lead, the Diet Aide performs a variety of patient food service and dish duties.

Job Duties / Responsibilities :

• Presents in a professional manner; meets appearance policy standards; appearance is neat and clean; wears name badge on duty.
• Utilizes standard precautions; complies with OSHA standards pursuant to blood borne pathogen, tuberculosis and hazardous material and waste;

complies with infection control policies including isolation precautions and consistent hand hygiene.

Reports safety and risk issues; completes incident reports as appropriate.

Qualifications

High school graduate or equivalent, preferred

ServSafe Certification preferred within 6 months of hire.

Dietary experience preferred.
