Position Summary

To provide account sales, traditional and social media marketing, account management and project management to new and existing Regional Pathology Services clients.

Responsible for cultivating and managing relationships with clients to drive revenue growth, while exceeding client expectations, including physicians, hospitals, reference laboratories and home health agencies regionally and nationally to provide laboratory testing services, and the highest level of customer service.

This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, strong communication skills, and a deep understanding of the pathology laboratory landscape.

  • Understanding of laboratory testing processes and procedures.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to present technical information to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong sales skills, including prospecting, lead generation, and closing deals.
  • Proficiency in negotiation and conflict resolution.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle client issues and provide effective solutions.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
  • Ability to understand and anticipate client needs and provide tailored solutions.

  • Ability to use laboratory information systems and other relevant technology.
  • Proficiency in using sales and marketing software tools.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams laboratory technicians, lab managers / directors, pathologists, and sales team).
  • Capacity to analyze market data and identify growth opportunities.

Preferred Experience : Experience in sales, account management, and / or marketing of biomedical, molecular, anatomic and / or clinical diagnostics.

  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and growth.
  • Advanced skills in analyzing sales data, and client feedback surveys.
  • Exceptional presentation skills for conducting high stakes meetings and presentations.
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex information to diverse audiences.
  • Strong project management skills to oversee multiple client projects and initiatives.
  • Ability to lead and mentor junior sales staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
  • Ability to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities through innovative thinking.
  • Willingness to challenge the status quo and drive continuous improvement.
