Position Summary :

The Compliance Analyst works closely with the Global Compliance Specialist on the daily execution and monitoring of Ormat’s global compliance program, covering the due diligence and monitoring of third-party partners and ensuring compliance with company policies and internal controls.

The role promotes ethical behavior, facilitates proper decision making, and works with Ormat partners on due diligence matters.

Essential Functions

  • Work closely with the Global Compliance Specialist to support Ormat’s Compliance program.
  • Work with other Ormat business units to perform due diligence risk assessments on third parties and Ormat business partners.
  • Responsible for maintenance of GAN compliance management system and assistance with third-party monitoring.
  • Assist with document management relating to Compliance processes and procedures.
  • Assist with developing performance and quality metrics to measure program effectiveness and to identify anomalies.
  • Provide administrative support to internal audits.
  • Develop and grow technical expertise.
  • Provide organizational and document management support to the Corporate Secretary.
  • Travel as necessary to United States and international locations to assist with compliance audits and trainings.
  • Provide support for special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

Education, Experience, and Skills Required

  • 5+ years’ experience in analytical or project management functions
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools to include Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Must be detail-oriented, demonstrating effective skills for tracking workflows as well as interactions with internal and external clients.
  • Auditing, Accounting, Contracting, or Investigative experience preferred but not required.
  • Must be comfortable working in a multicultural and multi-lingual environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in both a team environment and independently.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English at a level which will permit the employee to accurately understand and communicate information to effectively perform the job duties.

Additional languages preferred, but not required.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, along with excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Must have high level of integrity, discretion, judgment, and the ability to multi-task.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to work in an office environment.
  • The ability to work at a computer and computer monitor for long periods of time and stay alert.
  • This position requires the ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
