Communications Assistant

Position Summary :

We are seeking a dynamic Communications Assistant to develop and execute our social media strategy. This role involves creating engaging content, managing our online presence, and driving audience growth across various platforms.

The ideal candidate is a creative and analytical thinker with a passion for social media and a strong understanding of digital marketing trends.

Shift : Part Time 15-25 hours per week

Essential Duties :

• Assist in the development and execution of marketing strategies and campaigns for both internal and external use.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of marketing efforts.
• Manage and update content on various online platforms, such as websites and social media.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and customer preferences.
• Create engaging and compelling marketing content, including blog posts, articles, printed material and social media posts.
• Support the planning and execution of promotional events and trade shows
• Assist with the planning and execution of fundraising events.
• Participate in community events that promote Crittenton Services.
• Assist with conducting the Community Engagement : Tabling at Community Events Training for staff who represent Crittenton Services at community events.

Minimum Qualifications :

• In-depth knowledge of marketing principles, tools, and technique
• Proven experience in social media management
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and analytics tools
• Proficient in using digital marketing platforms and tools
• Strong organizational and time management skill
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skill
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently

Additional Requirements :

• Must have and maintain a working vehicle a valid, unrestricted California driver's license and current vehicle insurance.
• Ability to juggle multiple projects and duties with superb accuracy.
• Exceptional customer service skills, over the phone and in person, with our customers and internal departments.
• Strong sense of urgency and problem solving skills.

Salary : $21-23 per hour
