We are seeking a Warehouse Manager in our Northwestern Region. The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management oversight of company materials, inventory, and vehicle upkeep and general maintenance.
What You Will Do :
The Warehouse Manager performs the following duties along with any additional duties as assigned by management per business needs.
- Inspect physical conditions of warehouses, vehicle fleets, or equipment and order testing, maintenance, repairs, or replacements.
- Monitor inventory levels of products or materials in warehouses.
- Purchase materials, equipment, or other resources.
- Deliver material to designated jobsites timely.
- Analyze all aspects of corporate logistics to determine the most cost-effective or efficient means of transporting products or supplies.
- Confer with management to coordinate warehouse activities, such as production, records control, or purchasing.
- Recommend or authorize capital expenditures for acquisition of new equipment or property to increase efficiency and services.
- Operates working equipment such as forklifts, box trucks and trailers.
- Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, inventory, or stocking
- Maintain clean and organized work areas to include securely storing equipment and supplies while not in use
- Ensure the company vehicles are fully stocked at all times and travel to a nearby home improvement store to purchase needed items.
- Monitor the safety, security, efficiency, and appearance of the company vehicle and property.
- Perform light duty / labor for project managers with small repair projects.
What You Will Bring :
- 1 year experience in construction and / or restoration.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- Leadership capabilities to see the overall job from start to finish.
- Excellent problem solving, leadership and communication skills.
- Flexible, proactive, resourceful, efficient and a strong attention to detail.
- Communicates openly by listening and providing feedback.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Ability to effectively utilize technology.
- All applicants must be able to show proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- A valid driver's license in alignment with company policies and be able to pass insurance company’s criminal background check.
