EssentialDuties and Responsibilities include the following.Other duties may be assigned.
- Studiesfunctional statements organization charts and project informationto determine functions and responsibilities of workers and workunits and to identify areas of duplication.
- Promote and utilize Six Sigma Lean and otherOperational Excellence tools.
Leadand support process improvement projects deliver timely resultstrack improvement and ensure control. Analyzes processeffectiveness facility layout and operational data such asproduction costs process flow charts and production schedules todetermine efficient utilization of workers and equipment.
- Recommends methods for improving workerefficiency and reducing waste of materials and utilities such asrestructuring job duties reorganizing work flow relocating workstations and equipment and purchase ofequipment.
- Optimizematerial used to produce products and reduce cost ofmanufacturing
- Reducematerial waste and scrap on manufacturedproducts
- Confers withmanagement and engineering staff to implement plans andrecommendations.
- Developsmanagement systems for cost analysis financial planning and jobevaluation.
- PerformErgonomic Studies of jobs.
- Develop database programs as needed to aid inflow of information.
Track andrecord pertinent data for developmental products.
- Submit new products for testing and / orcertification.
- Developand maintain Departmental Job Procedures.
- Maintain and distribute various reports formanagement.
- Overtime isrequired as needed

Bachelors degree inEngineering. 2 years of Process Engineeringexperience.
