Title : Senior Cost Estimator
Location : Onsite- Aiken, SC - Per Diem available for those who qualify
Start : Immediately, Long-term assignment
Must be US Citizen
Requirements :
- 14+ years' experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain appropriate DOE security clearance;
- Ability to work in a diverse work environment,
- Must have working knowledge of Federal DOE Orders.
Responsibilities :
- Review source data including engineering documents
- Work with Volume III Lead to develop estimating plan and handbook
- Identify scope of work areas that require subcontract support or specially engineered equipment, and work with Supply Chain to write specifications and obtain pricing
- Identify scope areas that require subject matter expertise, and work with Proposal Manager to identify appropriate SMEs
- Select appropriate estimate methodologies
- Oversee and review the work of estimators and Junior Estimators.
- Participate in review process and ensure comments and feedback are implemented
