Beverage Manager - Full Time (Harrah's Laughlin)

JOB SUMMARY : The Beverage Manager will be responsible for overseeing all phases of the Beverage Operation to include inside casino beverage, pool / beach beverage & cabana services, outdoor entertainment and in-house special event beverage services.

This includes but not limited to managing cleanliness standards, service standards, customer service standards, and safety standards.

• Responsible for interviewing; training; selecting and adjusting rates of pay and hours of work; directing the work of employees;
• maintaining production; employee schedules; approving PTO; appraising employees; productivity and efficiency for purposes of recommending promotions or other changes (evaluations);

handling employee’s complaints; disciplining employees; planning work; providing for safety and security; and monitoring or implementing legal compliance matters.

KEY JOB FUNCTIONS : Take ownership of the day to day activities of multiple Beverage outlets with focus on continuous improvement of the service process.

Direct Beverage Supervisors and outlet service personnel ensuring the highest levels of customer service and satisfaction.

Prepare schedules as directed ensuring adherence to established parameters of wage and hour productivity. Develop on-going service skills training programs.

Ensure all service methods, procedures and specifications are maintained. Ensure Beverage product is attractive, well presented and consistent with established Corporate and property specifications.

Take ownership of all Beverage outlets and functions to achieve established goals regarding pour costs, profitability, labor costs, TPSS goals, turnover numbers, etc.

EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS : 2 years supervisory experience. Non-Gaming, Health card, Alcohol Awareness card
