Job Overview : The role of Producer / Sales Executive involves driving new business initiatives and overseeing the retention and growth of existing client revenue within an assigned pool of prospects and clients.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies for clients and prospects.
- Manage client relationships to ensure consistent profitability, satisfaction, and organic growth.
- Possess technical knowledge to effectively communicate our solutions.
- Meet annual new business sales targets within our target market.
- Conduct thorough discovery processes and deliver conceptual presentations highlighting our competitive advantages, tailored to each prospect.
- Collaborate with leaders to assemble appropriate teams for prospect sales presentations.
- Overcome sales obstacles on a prospect-specific basis.
- Employ strategic thinking and innovation based on market, carrier, and product knowledge.
- Identify and pursue cross-selling opportunities with other practices.
- Represent our positively and proactively at various events and networking opportunities.
- Work with sales leaders and senior account staff to retain clients.
- Maximize results by collaborating with the account management team and utilizing local, regional, and national resources.
- Communicate client objectives effectively to account management personnel.
- Adhere to our policies and execute them effectively.
Qualifications :
- 3-5 years of experience in insurance brokerage, carrier, or related B2B sales, including engagement with senior executives and a proven track record of financial success.
- Strong or developing understanding of employee benefits.
- Personable and highly motivated to achieve personal success.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Strong visibility within the HR and benefits community.
- Exceptional organization and follow-up abilities.
- Consultative, positive, and resourceful approach to dealing with prospects, clients, and associates.
- Excellent listening skills with a strong customer focus.
- Goal-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work with senior-level management and present a top-level executive presence.
- College degree and current insurance licensing preferred.
