Administrative Manager for Survey Operations

We are seeking an experienced AdministrativeManager to oversee our Survey Operations. This role plays a crucialpart in managing production processes maintaining strongrelationships with internal teams and clients and ensuring thatcustomer delivery dates and quality expectations are met.

PrincipalDuties and Responsibilities :

  • Coordinate activities by scheduling work assignmentssetting priorities and directing the work of teammembers.
  • Manage production schedules to meetdeadlines and achieve production goals.
  • Identify staff development and training needs and ensurethose needs are met.
  • Prepare and presentreports on production performance progress against targets andissue resolution.
  • Analyze production data toinform decisions and recommendations.
  • Handlespecial orders or customized requests as needed.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements toenhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Respondto client calls and emails for quotes and updates onsurveys.
  • Process new and existing orders andprepare field packages.
  • Invoice clients anddistribute surveys collecting payment as needed.
  • Maintain communication with accounting on paymentsowed.
  • Keep open communication with staffdrafting teams and clients regarding the status of openjobs.
  • Maintain a weekly status list and manageclient information in the database.
  • Communicate with field crews throughout the day to stayupdated on project status.
  • Assist withinvoicing and back up the duties of the Technical Field OperationsManager as needed.

Job Requirements :

Knowledge Skills &Abilities :

  • Experiencein construction or land surveying is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to highqualitywork.
  • Strong leadership organizational andproblemsolving skills.
  • Proficiency inMicrosoft Office with strong data entry skills. Experience withSage is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fastpacedenvironment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple tasks anddemands.

Education& Experience :

  • At least three years of experience in a supervisory ormanagement role.
  • Ability to maintain aflexible work schedule.
  • High School Diploma orequivalent is required; additional education is a plus.
