Principal Duties and Responsibilities :
- Coordinate activities by scheduling work assignments setting priorities and directing the work of team members.
- Manage production schedules to meet deadlines and achieve production goals.
- Identify staff development and training needs and ensure those needs are met.
- Prepare and present reports on production performance progress against targets and issue resolution.
- Analyze production data to inform decisions and recommendations.
- Handle special orders or customized requests as needed.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Respond to client calls and emails for quotes and updates on surveys.
- Process new and existing orders and prepare field packages.
- Invoice clients and distribute surveys collecting payment as needed.
- Maintain communication with accounting on payments owed.
- Keep open communication with staff drafting teams and clients regarding the status of open jobs.
- Maintain a weekly status list and manage client information in the database.
- Communicate with field crews throughout the day to stay updated on project status.
- Assist with invoicing and back up the duties of the Technical Field Operations Manager as needed.
Job Requirements :
Knowledge Skills & Abilities :
- Experience in construction or land surveying is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to highquality work.
- Strong leadership organizational and problemsolving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office with strong data entry skills. Experience with Sage is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple tasks and demands.
Education & Experience :
- At least three years of experience in a supervisory or management role.
- Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required; additional education is a plus.
