POSITION SUMMARY
The Staffing Coordinator coordinates day-to-day staffing department operations to provide temporary staff to Prestige centers and communities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Builds positive relationships with staffing pool team members, staffing contacts at Prestige centers and communities, and external agencies to effectively partner to fill open shifts and contract positions.
- Manages open shift requests utilizing a scheduling system and coordinates filling requests with staffing pool team members and agency employees.
- Provides on call support after hours and on weekends by answering the staffing line and responding to immediate staffing needs.
- Schedules travel arrangements for staffing pool team members and agency employees. Processes team members mileage reimbursements.
- Manages daily team member and agency timekeeping. Reviews time entries for accuracy, collects timecard edits and enters edits into system.
Audits timecards to schedule to ensure data matches.
- Tracks and maintains staffing pool and agency credentialing requirements to ensure compliance.
- Assists in recruiting, hiring, and onboarding staffing pool team members.
- Assists staffing leadership in the day-to-day management of staffing pool team members including coaching, attendance management, and problem-solving concerns.
Escalate concerns as necessary.
- Participates in planning team member events and implement recognition and engagement programs for staffing pool team members.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Must have ACTIVE CNA License plus at least 1 year of CNA experience.
1 year of experience in staffing, human resources, recruitment, or related experience. Healthcare staffing experienced preferred.
Ability to creatively problem-solve scheduling and employee situations. Individual must be a team player, well organized, and flexible.
Ability to work in a fast paced, high demand environment. Able to cover on call staffing after hours and on weekends.
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications. Effective interpersonal and customer service skills. Experience using a scheduling software and payroll systems preferred.
EDUCATION
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
