Arcosa Marine Components, Inc. is searching for Inside Sales Support / Customer Service Representative at our Bossier City, LA manufacturing plant.
Arcosa’s Inland Barge Group is comprised of Arcosa Marine Products, Inc., a leading manufacturer of barges used to transport cargo on inland waterways.
Arcosa Marine Products manufactures dry cargo barges, including flat-deck and hopper barges, that are used to transport a variety of products including grain, coal, and aggregates.
Arcosa Marine Products also manufactures tank barges that carry petroleum, fertilizer, ethanol, chemicals, and other liquid cargoes.
It is the largest manufacturer of fiberglass hopper barge covers used primarily on grain barges. Additionally, Arcosa Marine Products provides a full line of deck hardware to the marine industry, including hatches, castings, and winches for towboats and dock facilities.
What You'll Do :
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls
- Staff reception desk
- Complete quotes for parts and standard products
- Enter parts and standard product orders
- Process credit card orders
- Assist engineering and production management with general administration tasks
- Maintain quote log
- Follow up with customers on submitted quotations and orders
- Estimate delivery schedules based on stock and production.
- Answer basic product questions.
- Support outside sales team with quotes, questions, and logistics
What You'll Need :
- At least years of relevant experience
- Proficient skills in MS Office
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to understand, explain, and demonstrate features of industrial products and services
- Ability to read and understand basic engineering drawings
- Driver’s License and ability to operate company vehicles.
