Senior Consultant - Endpoint needed for a Contract opportunity with SOC’s client to work in Huntsville, AL
US citizenship required; with Secret Clearance
Responsibilities :
Endpoint Configuration and Integration : Design, deploy, configure, and maintain Wyse Thin clients within a VMware Horizon environment integrated with Active Directory.
Work closely with the Advisory Consultants specializing in Active Directory to ensure smooth integration and compliance with enterprise standards.
Engage in ground-up builds of endpoint management systems in greenfield environments, ensuring scalability and adaptability to evolving business needs.
Performance and Security Optimization : Optimize the performance and security of endpoint devices in conjunction with Active Directory settings and VMware infrastructures.
Implement and maintain security measures tailored to endpoint management, including compliance with federal and industry standards.
Project Management and Collaboration : Collaborate with cross-functional teams involved in the global initiatives, from project conception through to implementation, aligning endpoint management strategies with broader IT and business objectives.
Lead and manage projects related to endpoint deployment and integration, providing expertise in Active Directory and VMware settings.
Support and Troubleshooting : Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for endpoint-related issues, particularly those that intersect with VMware and Active Directory environments.
Serve as a senior escalation point for complex endpoint issues, guiding teams through problem
Qualifications
- Deep technical expertise in endpoint management with specific skills in Wyse Thin clients and VMware Horizon.
- Proven ability to integrate endpoint solutions with Active Directory and VMware environments.
- Experience setting up new infrastructure in greenfield environments.
Education and Experience :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5-10 years of relevant experience in IT systems, particularly in endpoint management, VMware, and Active Directory.
- Professional certifications in VMware, Microsoft, or related fields are preferred.
