Risk Tech Lead / Solution Designer – ServiceNow IRM – KPMG US. Hybrid work opportunity.

KPMG is a professional services firm providing audit, tax and advisory services. This role focuses on designing and delivering ServiceNow IRM solutions within the Digital Nexus technology organization. The position requires collaborating with Risk, Compliance, Audit and Security teams to implement scalable, secure, and maintainable IRM capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders across Risk, Compliance, Audit, and Security to understand business needs and design scalable, secure, and maintainable ServiceNow IRM solutions
• Lead the architecture and delivery of ServiceNow IRM modules including Policy and Compliance, Risk Management, Audit Management, Vendor Risk, and Business Continuity; create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation including architecture diagrams, configuration standards, and governance models specific to IRM implementations
• Build integrations between ServiceNow IRM and external GRC platforms, data lakes, and enterprise systems using APIs, MID servers, and iPaaS tools such as Mulesoft
• Provide technical guidance and support to development teams throughout the IRM solution lifecycle, including risk scoring models, automated control testing, and workflow design; serve as an escalation point for complex IRM issues, collaborating with ServiceNow support and internal teams to resolve critical technical challenges
• Partner with Enterprise Architecture to ensure IRM solutions align with broader platform strategy and regulatory requirements (for example : SOX, GDPR, NIST, ISO)
• Stay current with ServiceNow IRM roadmap, risk frameworks (for example : COSO, COBIT, FAIR), and emerging technologies relevant to integrated risk management
