We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to join a leading commercial construction company that has a rich history and phenomenal culture.
The Sr. Project Manager will be overseeing projects in the Wilmington NC market spanning across various sectors and project complexities.
Commerical construction experience within large-scale GCs required. Healthcare industry experience strongly preferred.
Responsibilities :
- Takes lead efforts with Owner and Architect with negotiations, conflict resolution and business development
- Manages large complex projects and / or several smaller projects with limited oversight from upper management
- Manages a project in the Preconstruction Phase as primary project is occurring / concurrently
- General oversight of Document Control and Management Processes
- Supervise team of OE / PE / APM in review / logging of RFIs / Submittals
- Responsible for managing, and training PM’s
- Write and finalize trade specific contract scope / Bid Package Manual Specific Scopes of work
- Facilitate meetings with Owner to review Change Management process
- Perform Project Budget Revisions
- Review and approve subcontractor monthly pay applications
- Generate Owner pay applications and facilitate approval with Owner / Architect
- Oversee coordination process of Virtual Design and Construction
- Ability to create and update Microsoft Project schedules
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in construction, engineering, or related field, or related construction experience
- 5-10 years of project management experience
- Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
- Computer skills Microsoft Office Tools, BIM 360, OneNote, CMIC
