Job Description :
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Leaves Analyst to join our team. The Benefits Analyst for Leaves will be responsible for the oversight of the University’s Paid Family and Medical Leave Benefit Plan.
Responsibilities :
- Manage the administration of PFML Leaves through the University’s Leave Administrator.
- Review and audit leave payments, leave duration and ensure employees’ leave start and end dates are processed on a timely basis.
- Provide support to Human Resources Service Center on all employee and departmental inquiries and needs regarding the leaves.
- Provide monthly reporting on type of leaves and payment of leaves by employee group and organizational units
- Ensure the University’s PFML program is in compliance with State Law and comply with all regulatory requirements
- The position will also offer the candidate the opportunity to review the current leave processes and determine potential process flow improvements.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience
- Experience administering leave benefits and extensive knowledge of the Massachusetts Paid Family and Medical Leave Act and Family and Medical Leave Act of 1993
- Strong analytic skills and the ability to organize and analyze large data sets
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and data integrity.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
