Also assists in maintaining patient care areas and equipment clean and organized. Will also perform patient watches. Will not be required to perform phlebotomy and EKG skillsQualifications : Required : + High School Diploma+ BLS Certification through American Heart Association only+ Successful completion of all Orientation ProgramsPreferred : + At least one-year experience as a Nursing AssistantCertifications and Licenses : + BLS certification through American Heart AssociationScheduling Requirements : + Nights 11 : 00PM 7 : 00AM+ Every other weekend required.

Schedule during the week will vary depending on department needs+ Full-Time (37.5 hrs)+ Mandatory OrientationEssential Functions : + Answers call lights and assist patients promptly and courteously+ Assists in maintaining all patient care areas, including cleaning and organizing equipment+ Assists with ambulating protocol, techniques and assistive devices, weighing patients, applying flowtron boots, elastic stockings, and transportation to ancillary departments, etc.

• Contributes to the unit s overall patient satisfaction score by doing regular rounding, escalation of complaints and providing service recovery.
