job_description.job_card.job_descriptionOversee consistently smooth & professional service Be vigilant and hold all BOH staff accountable to standards of excellence & safety Coaching new & existing cooks and prep team to execute recipes and techniques Plan and assign food preparation tasks in collaboration with the Chef Food & supplies inventory management including sourcing high quality ingredients, purchasing and receiving Scheduling and labor management in collaboration with Chef and Management Menu development in collaboration with Chef, Management and Owner Monitoring and maintaining kitchen equipment; following up on repairs as needed 3+ years of experience cooking & leadership in upscale / fine dining environment Brunch expertise Cookery, butchery, knife skills Creativity and resourcefulness Team oriented and positive attitude Strong communication skills are a must Proficiency in Spanish is a plus NYC Food Handler’s Certification, ServSafe Food Manager

Celebrating the spirit of a classic American Tavern with European influences, we pair the warmth of a neighborhood restaurant with an elevated experience of a New York dining destination.
Compensation & Benefits :
- Salary Range : $75,000-$85,000 / yr
- Consecutive days off
- PTO after 6 months of employment
- Secondary health insurance benefits (dental, vision, life insurance and more) subsidized after 6 months at the company
- Subsidized primary health insurance plan after 12 months at the business
- Upward mobility with an expanding business
