Business Development Manager
Job Purpose

Develop relationships within region to open doors to new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will deploy and practice global account strategy in conjunction with Management in order to achieve aims and objectives set for the business.
Nature Of Duties
- Develop Regional Accounts
- Manage existing customers
- Ensure customer expectations are clearly understood, communicated and met
- Coordinate with Sanmina’s operations teams and the customer’s teams
- Apply best business practices to benefit our customers
- Drive communication with existing customers, participate in QBRs, develop customer strategies, and solve problems
- Develop and strengthen relationships with all levels of customer management
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve service and grow revenue
- Work with the customer for timely payments, address E&O issues, and other out of scope charges / costs
- Develop relationships with customer engineering teams to learn of new opportunities
- Expand Sanmina’s market share with existing customers
- Drive Regional Growth with New Customers
- Develop business plan to identify all opportunities for IFS in the North America region
- Accountable for meeting and exceeding sales revenue targets
- Familiarity with the local market, customers and opportunities
- Develop a professional network to help identify and pursue opportunities
- Target customers, develop relationships, assess opportunities and win new business
- Help to define and support SVA improvement actions defined and committed by the operations / account teams
- Coordinate quotation activity on new business opportunities with Quote teams
- Support preparation of proposals, meetings and other activities targeted at customer opportunities
Education And Experience
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5 years Sales Experience
- Knowledge of CM industry with background in Manufacturing and understanding of global Supply Chains
- Excellent MS Office skills
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with vast remote cross-functional teams in large matrix organizations
- Strong project management skills with excellent ability to prioritize, multitask and organize
