About This Internship
Arch’s 10-week summer internship program offers students a unique opportunity to gain hands on experience in the insurance industry.
It provides challenging learning experiences that serve as a foundation for interns to explore their career choices and to develop professional skills.
Working alongside some of the most talented members of the specialty insurance industry, interns will gain relevant expertise in various aspects of the field, participate in learning activities and receive ongoing feedback.
About This Role
Serve as a marketing liaison and the point person for communicating with internal customers about what the needs are for the marketing project requests that are submitted.
Support marketing and communications initiatives through various communication channels, including collateral development, website content maintenance, advertising needs and customers communications.
Work directly with creative and digital team members to execute initiatives.
Work alongside the social media specialist and the marketing team to maintain the social media calendar.
Assist in the growth of the Arch MI brand by raising awareness through various social media platforms with social listening and appropriate trend usage.
Build a repository of repurposed content sourced from evergreen campaigns into a variety of media, including Instagram Reels, listicles, etc.
Assist in implementing plans to increase followers on popular social media websites such as LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter.
Develop a relationship with members of Arch MI’s employee resource groups (ERGs) to assist in creating stories around employees.
Help create content as dictated by the monthly editorial calendar to promote sales, blogs and products.
plan, organize, coordinate and support a range of projects from conception to completion.
Qualifications
Actively completing area of study in Marketing, Communications, Media / Public Relations, or related program.
Experience in marketing and project management, with effective organizational and project management skills.
Minimum 3.0 GPA or higher.
College level current Sophomore or Junior.
Entrepreneurial spirit along with the desire to be a continuous learner.
Team player who collaborates effectively.
Self-starter who can work independently and deal effectively with multiple tasks / priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Location & Work Arrangement
The program dates are June 2 - August 8, 2025.
This position is classified as a hybrid position. You will work 2 days onsite and 3 days from home.
This position is in Greensboro, NC.
Timeline
Arch summer internship positions will be posted from August 2024 and will be unposted when filled.
For individuals assigned to or hired to work in Greensboro, NC, the hourly rate is $22-30 as of the time of posting. The breadth in the range exists to accommodate students in specialized programs such as actuarial candidates and graduate students.
Any actual rate offered will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to geographic location, scope & responsibilities of the role, along with the education & qualifications of the candidate.
The above range may be modified in the future. Intern position is eligible for select Arch benefits.
