Summary : The Project Coordinator supports the Project Manager in planning, executing and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.

This role involves coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following :

• Assist in Project Planning by working closely with project managers to create comprehensive action plans concerning resources, budgets and timeframes for projects.
• Tracks parts through fabrication, ensuring the right parts are being fabricated for the next shipment.at all long lead items are identified and ordered in a timely manner in support of the project schedules.
• Coordinates shipments ensuring the right parts are being pulled for shipping.
• Track finished part inventory, maintaining inventory management.
• Track outsourcing processes and vendor fabrication by outsourcing and vendor coordination.
• Manage project-related paperwork by ensuring all necessary materials are current, properly filed and stored.
• Act as a point of contact for project teams and stakeholders, preparing and reviewing memos, meeting minutes and emails.
• Evaluate potential problems and technical hitches and develop solutions.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience in manufacturing and or oil & gas industries a plus.

COMPUTER / LANGUAGE SKILLS

Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, strong communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in project management software (e.

g., Excel, Microsoft Project) and familiarity with planning and risk management. Proficient in communicating in English.

EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE

Associates or bachelor’s degree in business administration, Management or a related field preferred.

Work Hours

Full-time, with overtime during peak project phases.
