The FBM Program is experiencing significant growth and we need your expertise to deliver amazing new technologies to our customers while maintaining the technical requirements of the strategic deterrence.

What does this role look like?

The qualified individual will be responsible for coordinating with multiple teams within the larger Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) program to execute various Avionics processes, mainly as integrator of the Electrical Support equipment (EGSE) process.

This individual will also serve multiple baseline control functions, such as the Risk and Opportunity Management Board (ROMB), Sustainment Engineering, FAIT, FAST, Vrics Qnotes and various Control Boards.

This individual will also be responsible for consolidating directorate metrics for various program reviews which will be presented to senior leadership.

This role provides opportunities for collaboration with a multitude teams within the FBM program, all relying on Avionics to provide solutions and support to help meet and exceed mission objectives.

This individual will also have the opportunity to use critical thinking in order to drive improvements in current processes that will create positive impacts to our mission success.

This position will also have the ability to gain insight into various business processes that are critical to program support, such as proposals, contract execution and building relationships with our mission partners.

As a Program Integration Support project engineer, you will report to the Avionics Sustainment Senior Program Manager and lead the integration between the programmatic / business side of the program LE program.

Desired skills

To be successful, ideally, you should also have :

• 3+ years of professional experience
• Ability to operate independently with limited oversight
• Excellent organizational skills
• Experience communicating with peers, leadership, and internal customers effectively on multiple platforms (face-to-face, virtually, email, Teams, etc.)
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate in a team environment
• Active Top Secret clearance
• FBM program experience
• Project experience
• Experience facilitating meetings
• Experience creating, tracking, and reporting action items
