Job Description and Duties
Telework Information : This position is eligible for remote-centered hybrid telework up to three days per week; the other two days per week are in the office for hands-on training and team meetings.

Under general supervision of the Senior Accounting Officer (Supervisor), the Accounting Officer (Specialist) is responsible for performing professional accounting functions within the General Ledger Unit.
The accounting tasks are performed in accordance with Office of Fiscal Services (OFS) guidelines, Governor’s Budget, Department of Finance (DOF) rules and regulations, State Controller's Office (SCO) policies, State Administrative Manual (SAM), and government codes utilizing the Financial Information System of California (FI$Cal) PeopleSoft and Microsoft Office.

The incumbent works 40 hours per week in an office setting. Air-conditioned building with elevator access, cubicle with natural and artificial lighting.
Telework typical work requires prolonged use of a computer, calculator, telephone, and interaction with co-workers.
