Job Title : Engineering Technician
Pay Rate : $29 / Hour on W2.
Job Summary : The Engineering Technician performs diverse and complex assignments in support of product development. This role involves setting up and running data acquisition equipment for tests, carrying out experiments, troubleshooting, and reporting / documenting results.
Key Responsibilities :
Set up and operate data acquisition equipment for tests.
Conduct experiments and diagnostic tests, and document and report results.
Utilize initiative and independent judgment to construct and assist in evaluating engineering models.
Perform basic troubleshooting across multiple variables to achieve root cause analysis and problem resolution.
Evaluate software and hardware, and implement plans using knowledge of product, system operation, intermodule interactions, and engineering tools.
Utilize technical communication to improve internal models and / or externally sourced components in terms of system performance, reliability, functionality, and serviceability.
Provide evaluation, constructive feedback, and leadership in developing engineering, manufacturing, or service documentation.
Develop and execute training plans as required.
Contribute individually to achieve team goals.
Required Qualifications :
Associate's Degree, or High School diploma with 2 years of technical experience.
Proficiency in troubleshooting at the subsystem and occasionally system level, using identifiable problem-solving techniques.
Ability to draw accurate conclusions from test data, malfunctions, or deviations, and assist with corrections to design or process.
Proficiency in understanding and interpreting basic written technical information.
Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing computerized work systems.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work well with general direction and information.
Ongoing effort to maintain knowledge of current technology.
Ability to communicate using the local language.
