What You’ll Do
- Assist with pre-hire tasks such as background checks and pre-employment testing.
- Coordinate and conduct new hire orientation and follow through on new hire onboarding activities.
- Assist in screening and sourcing candidates; including updating the job boards and attending job fairs.
- Coordinate and communicate DC meetings and DC events including obtaining vendor quotes, purchasing gifts and decorations.
- Maintain and update the DC event calendar.
- Coordinate Years of Service Anniversary Recognition Program.
- Assist employees with Workday and Dimensions : Navigating through the system and processing updates as needed.
- Assist employees with processing direct deposit, benefits, discounts, and time-off through Dimensions and ADP.
- Filing, retention record compliance, badge activation, and updating memos and postings on DC bulletin boards.
- Assist management with reporting using Microsoft Access, Workday, Dimensions, and other applications.
- Dimensions :
- Review and audit timekeeping in Dimensions prior to payroll processing.
- Create job profiles for new hires and update current job profiles as needed.
- Monitor attendance tracking and disciplinary action.
- Review temporary agency timekeeping invoices for accuracy.
- Code the invoices w / job codes and send to finance.
- Process payroll requests and any necessary changes.
- Assist employees during Open Enrollment.
- Maintain and order supplies; monitor and audit locker assignments.
- Demonstrate professionalism and confidentiality with all discussions and information within the HR Department.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Demonstrate strong interpersonal and presentation skills (written and oral) while interacting with all levels of management at the DC / Corporate office.
- Evidence of the practice of a high level of integrity, confidentiality and professionalism.
- Excellent organizational skills, time management skills, and attention to detail.
- Effectively interact with all employees to assist with questions and requests.
- Must be solution-driven and display a positive attitude.
- Strong multitasking skills without compromising quality of work and delivery.
- Follow policies and procedures in a fair, consistent, and uniform manner.
- Ensure accuracy and thoroughness for all HRIS Systems including, but not limited to Workday, Dimensions, AS400, HR Database, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent HR field experience.
- 1-2 years of administrative and coordinating experience.
- Demonstrated strength in Microsoft Suite.
- HR experience in distribution centers or manufacturing preferred.

CA Pay Range is $24.00 to $28.00 per hour
