Job Overview :

Duties :
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on regulatory matters pertaining to energy projects.
- Draft and review power purchase agreements, interconnection agreements, and related project documents.
- Provide legal guidance and support on compliance with FERC electricity regulations.
- Assist in the due diligence process for energy project financing and transactions.
- Communicate effectively with clients, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
Requirements :
- 4-8 years of legal experience with a focus on FERC electricity regulations.
- Exposure to project finance or energy transaction documents is preferred.
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks within the renewable energy industry.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
Education :
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the Texas Bar.
Skills :
